Another sweet treat for our dearest, from only two ingredients. Recipe from Karin of the FB-group Vegan Hund!? Ja klar!
I removed the skins of the almonds because the balls look especially neat without the darker skin patches, but I don’t think it is necessary. To remove the skin put the almonds in a ball and pour in hot water covering the almonds.
Let sit for 10 minutes, pour off the water and add another badge of hot water for another 5 minutes. Get rid of the water and pull off the skins with your fingers. Now the almonds have to be pureed until they have a marzipan like texture.
Put the puree into a ball add the coconut flakes and knead into a dough. Finally form the dough into small balls. Done.
