Vegan Snack for Dogs
Tasty as a Treat
Ingredients
- 200g Tofu
- 400g Water
- 80g Oil (I use sunflower)
- Spices according to preference (varying each time). I use e.g.:
- 1 tsp Marjoram
- ½ tsp Savory
- ½ tsp Caraway seeds
- ½ tsp Coriander seeds
- approx. 10 drops smoke flavor
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- ½ tsp Salt
- 300g Gluten/Seitan Powder
Preparation
Mix all ingredients except for the gluten powder well with a (stick) blender. Then add the gluten powder, stir in and knead briefly to form a dough. Transfer to a gratin dish with lid and smooth the surface. Put the lid on and give the dish into a pan with a steamer basket and some water. Steam for an hour, let cool and pour off excess water. Voilà. Cut into cubes, the Vurst is great to take outside as a treat, mix into food or in slices on toasted bread😋.
