wir wünschen uns sehnlichst wieder einen Hund. Ich selbst bin noch nicht vegan, aber lacto Vegetarier, mein Mann ist vegan. Mein Nicki, der vor einiger Zeit verstorben ist, habe ich versucht mit vegetarischen Trockenfutter zu ernähren. Er erbrach aber sehr oft. Ich hatte leider auch keine Ansprechpartner. Im Juni könnten wir evtl. einen Welpen bekommen, der mit Sicherheit erstmal bei der Familie Fleischfutter erhält. Kann man dann, wenn er zu uns kommt auf Euer Futter umstellen. Welches wäre das richtige? Vielen Dank. LG Chr. Kraus

Hallo Christiane,
wachsende Hunde haben einen höheren Nährstoffbedarf als ausgewachsene Hunde. Es empfiehlt sich ein Welpenfutter zu füttern, oder sich bei einer Ernährungsberatung eine (vegane) Ration berechnen zu lassen.
Greta, Pauline und V-Complete sind auf den Nährstoffbedarf von ausgewachsenen Hunden abgestimmt. Wir empfehlen die Fütterung nach Abschluss der Wachstumsphase, je nach Rasse mit ca. einem Jahr.
Du kannst bei einer Ernährungsberatung auch berechnen lassen, was du zu einem Futter wie Greta oder Pauline noch zufüttern musst für deinen Hund im Wachstum. Solche Ernährungsberatungen machen z.B. Wenn du bei der Futterumstellung Schwierigkeiten mit Erbrechen hast sollte diese sehr langsam erfolgen, da fleischhaltige Kost mehr Magensäure erfordert und diese dann bei einer abrupten Umstellung auf pflanzliche Kost zu viel da sein kann, was zu Erbrechen führt. Am besten schleichst du das neue Futter ein, indem du über mehrere Tage/Wochen immer mehr des alten Futters durch das neue ersetzt.
