Greta is our complete food for adult dogs by Vegan4Dogs.
Developed in collaboration with experts from the field of animal companion nutrition it meets the nutritional requirements for a balanced diet for (vegan) dogs.
To provide your dog with energy, Greta comes with easily digestible rice combined with potatoes. Canola oil complements the energy of the carbohydrates and provides strength.
The best of pea protein along with lentils, sunflower seeds and flax seeds provide your dog with protein for its maintenance metabolism.
Carrots and beet root refine Greta's taste. Lovage adds its aromatic flavour.
Savory, papaya leaves and fructooligosaccharides support the digestion along with chestnut.
Cranberries encourage urine acidification.
The algae Schizochytrium limacinum provides omega 3 fatty acids (DHA).
Sea salt and seaweed meal provide essential minerals and are optimally complemented by carefully chosen additives.
With L-carnitine and taurine as well as essential vitamins like B12 and minerals Greta is a complete and balanced food.
Feeding Recommendation
Each dog is different; you know your dog the best. Adjust the amount of food according to the vitality, age and health of your dog. Take care to always provide sufficient amounts of fresh water.

Top Trockenfutter
Greta wird von meinen Hunden geliebt und auch super vertragen. Ich persönlich finde die Inhaltsstoffe toll und mag den Geruch. Die kleinen Kroketten sind für die Zwerge mit Zähne gut, aber für die Zahnlosen muss man sie etwas einweichen und dann lassen sich gut, durch ihre rundliche Form,mit einem Tablettenzerteler zerkleinern . Greta ist für uns der Favorit bei der Veganen Hundeernährung.

Kaufempfehlung!!
Mein ungarischer Mischling Kasimir hat aufgrund von Mangelernährung in den ersten Lebensjahren einen sehr empfindlichen Magen-Darm-Trakt und ich hatte große Schwierigkeiten, das richtige Futter für ihn zu finden. Seit ca. 2 Monaten füttere ich ihm nun GRETA und bin absolut begeistert. Er liebt sein neues Trockenfutter und hatte bisher kein einziges Mal Verdauungsprobleme. Deshalb kann ich GRETA nur empfehlen und werde es gerne nachbestellen :-)

My dog loves it
On recommendation of a couple of vegan dog owners I know, I bought this food for my rescued dog and she absolutely loves it. Looking at the ingredients and the nutritional info, I feel completely reassured that my dog is getting all the nutrients she needs. I might try it myself one of these days...

Wirklich sehr gut!
Meine Hündin begommt dieses Futter nun schon über ein Jahr. Es bekommt ihr sehr gut und vor allem sie mag es auch sehr gern. Ich werde immer mal wieder auf ihr schönes Fell angesprochen und das sie so gesund aussehe. Beim Tierarzt sind wir nur zum Impfen. Durchfall und Co. gehören der Vergangenheit an. Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Danke an die HerstellerInnen!

Lecker, nachhaltig, gesund - besser geht es jawohl kaum!
Meine 8 Jahre alte Hündin bekommt Greta bereits eine Weile. Sie liebt es, steht immer schon pünktlich zur Fütterungszeit bereit, um ihre Mahlzeit zu bekommen. Sie ist fit und gesund, ihre Zähne zum Beispiel sehen nach wie vor super gut aus. Und da das Futter nachhaltig und ohne Tierleid entsteht, werde ich GRETA auch weiterhin kaufen :)

Worked wonders for my best friend
Greta has changed my dogs life for the better. She has a severe case of food allergies all animal proteins meat,fish,milk,eggs, gluten, lupine and soy( soy if it´s given daily). But especially the animals products gave severe skin symtoms.
In the beginning of her allergies she was 1 year old at the time before we knew what was causing her skin problems she got a lot of heavy dosage medicine for the allergies symtoms. Which gave her bad side effects and led to and chronic stomic problems. She had stomic medication for 5 years straight and inspitte of the medication she would vomit almost every day sometimes several times a day. She often skipped eating 1 or 2 days and would eat little bit when she ate. She had low energy and she disliked walking i had to drag/ push her for walks this was her ¨normal¨. I tried all the vegan foods and stomic mediaction(herbs and homeopatics) on the market always hoping to find the best food and meds for her over the track of 5 years. We made the best of every day it was oke quality of life but i wished better for her.
So some were in oktober 2018 we started with Edgar/Greta. She started to eat more regularly at least 1 meal a day after about 2 weeks she stopt vomiting. Which was a big suprise to me. After the vomiting stop she started to eat all her meals 3 times a day she became more playfull,silly and happy. I tried build down the medication for her stomic after 5 weeks to give her only as needed because she was on high dosage. After a week it was clear she did not need it any more after 5 years.
Her body got what it needed to heal her stomic problems. Week 7/8 she was happy,healthier and super playfull and she had more energy and she got awesome winter fur. Now after 6 months her body system has made a incredible recovery she has more energy she walks for 1,5 to 2 hours in 1 walk so now she walks happily 3 hours a day! She is almost 7+- years old now (in juli she is 6 years with me) she plays and has energy like a young dog. She was a former abused street dog she had rough start followed with all those health issues.
I cant put in to words how gratefull and happy i am with these results. Im so thankfull for Greta!!! From the bodem of my heart and soul i say thank you !!!

Wir sind begeistert...
Meine 8 Hunde (2 Galgos Español, 6 kleine Hunde Chihuahua- bis Yorki-Größe), sowie diverse Pflegehunde sind begeistert vom Greta-Hundefutter. Wir füttern es seit ca. 2 Jahren und alle lieben es. Gestern wurde ich vom Tierarzt darauf angesprochen wie toll meine Hunde sind. Glänzendes Fell, sehr guter Allgemeinzustand, super Blutwerte. Wir sagen danke!

Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass es...
Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass es möglich ist, meinen Hund (3 Jahre alt) vegan zu ernähren. Außerdem hatte ich Angst, dass sie Fleisch vermissen würde. Tja - falsch gedacht! Bailey liebt es! So viel hat sie mir noch nie in die Küche gesabbert. Auch nicht beim Rohfleisch! EDGAR wird sehr gut vertragen. Es schmeckt ihr als eingeweichte oder trockene Mahlzeit. Dazu benutze ich die großen Kroketten auch als Leckerli für Spaziergänge.
Hinzu kommt, dass sie als Ridgeback immer Hautprobleme hat. Die sind um einiges besser geworden! Und das ganz ohne die Chemie-Bomben und Nahrungsergänzungsmittel vom Tierarzt. Ihr Fell war vorher sehr stumpf und struppig, jetzt sagen einige wie weich es doch geworden ist. Auch meine Angst, ob Nährstoffe und Proteine bei veganem Futter ausreichend sein würden war unbegründet. Sie hat eine wirklich schlanke Form, aber dennoch eine kräftige Muskulatur und ist fit wie ein Turnschuh - bestätigt vom Tierarzt.
Fazit: Sie ist happy und gesund - also bin ich es auch!

Why vegan dog food?
More and more people are consciously choosing a plant-based diet – and dogs can benefit from this too. Why dry food is a good choice

For which dogs is Greta recommended?
Greta is a complete food for adult dogs of all breeds and sizes. It is suitable for both active and less athletic dogs, as well as those with sensitive stomachs and allergies. However, we recommend a special diet tailored to growth for puppies, although Greta can also be used if the missing nutrients are supplemented. Ideally, this should be done in consultation with a dog nutritionist.
